Do you like the idea of letting your bridesmaids pick out their own dresses, but fear that they might stray too much from your wedding-day vision? For those of you who are going for that uniform – but not too uniform – look, you might want to check out the dress from twobirds. That’s right, I said THE dress. Because twobirds has onedress. But the magic of that dress is that it can be worn in 10 different styles. The dresses are one-size-fits-all and “flatter women sizes 0-16 and are especially stunning on pregnant bridesmaids.” There are 11 colors available, and additional colors can be had for an extra $40 per dress.  The calf length version of the dress costs $270; the floor length dress is $290.

I really like this dress, but I am having a hard time believing that all body types from size 0-16 will look equally good in it. The tall, thin models look gorgeous, but there are some shots from the designers’ wedding in which the dress looks fairly low-cut and potentially a bit difficult to wear for either a more modest or bustier bridesmaid.

As a side note, when you’re checking out the Web site (which is beautiful) make sure you visit the “contact” page, which has the most unique contact form that I’ve ever seen on a Web site.

    Melanie,
You might want to try Bella Bridesmaids: http://www.bellabridesmaid.com/locations/index.php. They are now selling the Two Birds bridesmaid dresses in select stores, and they may be willing to ship to Canada. I can’t promise that will work, but it’s worth a shot! Good luck, and please check back and let us know if you find a place to buy! -Melissa

Update: I just heard from Ariane at Twobirdsbridesmaids, and she told me that they do in fact ship dresses to Canada (orders, not samples) and she sells to White Toronto (http://www.whitetoronto.com/). Good luck!
